Under the Private Security Industry Authority Act 2001, all individuals wishing to work in the private security industry must undertake a recognised qualification before applying for a licence. This accredited qualification has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a CCTV operative.
This covers certification, manuals and tea/coffee.Dear candidate, it is a must you invest in this qualification if you are considering or have completed our door supervision course as you are severely limiting yourself in gaining employment in security if you choose to take this course standalone as there are limited security control rooms in reflection of the amount of CCtv operations taking place in today’s world there are substantially more security CCTV systems in operation than SIA licensed security guards, and their purpose is to minimise risks, anyone wishing to observe and operate CCTV security systems where they may be monitoring public space must have a SIA CCTV operator license, failing to do so may result in a £5000 fine or 6 months prison. Be in position to increase you employment opportunities in security by a minimum of 50% by investing in this qualification as your customers will benefit from a dynamic security officer, one that can screen customer, conduct patrols and loss prevention but also manage their CCTV operation in accordance to the law. Ask yourself, if you was in need of a security operative, would you want them to be not only physical protect your business but also to manage the system security on the premises?
Or
I have been in the security industry since the late 1990’s,originally front-line as a security operative in various leisure environments with my own security teams and progressed into security solutions for the industrial sector leading onto the corporate sector. To date I have been involved with conducting risk assessments, leading onto security consultation and implementing security measures in varied threat levels in a dynamic approach in accordance to budgetary constraints, applying manned, physical and systems security. The Security Industry Authority was introduced in London in 2004 which was the catalyst for me to become qualified to instruct and share the wealth of knowledge which I had the pleasure of gaining at all levels.I intend to invest in you in a positive manner to make you – not to break you, I will be empathetic and honest with your best interest in mind.I am motivated for you to gain employment in the security industry and I gain satisfaction from you prospering from strength to strength whether as an operative or a service provider. If you have any queries feel free to contact me.Look forward to meeting you.
